A little more about me..

My name is Lauren. I am a warm-hearted yoga teacher who is on a mission to share all that has helped me along my path of self discovery, and to assist others on theirs. I love to teach creative, dynamic vinyasa flow, and often fuse this with sound healing singing bowls and angelic vocal toning. My classes carry themes of mindfulness and healing, using flow and movement as a tool to release, connect, and create a deeper awareness of the mind and body. I often use breath work and meditation as a vehicle to deepen our practice, even in my classes that are held at gym spaces, to remind people whilst yoga increases our fitness and flexibility, this is not it’s core focus. My goal is to structure my classes in a way that balances the strength and softness in each of us, remaining curious and playful in our bodies whilst still venturing on a journey inward. As well as Vinyasa flow, I also teach other styles such as Hatha, and restorative.

Yoga found its way to me at a time where I was really struggling, and offered me a hand of wisdom. I indulged in the teachings, and found so much magic in all that I was learning. It felt for the first time as though there was a light on the other side, and the teaching’s of yoga guided me in the right direction. The practice has facilitated powerful healing within myself, and shifted my perception entirely. I found a sense of purpose in this practice, and felt called to share this with others. My background was in music, which I practiced, studied and performed for over 10 years. This has naturally started to weave its way into my practice, and has given my voice a new sense of purpose through sound healing.

My goal is to share this practice with as many hearts as possible, and hope that it assists them in the same way it has me.

As well as teaching yoga, I am a pole fitness instructor. I first attended a class when I was 18, hoping it would help me re-build my confidence and bring some joy into an unstable period of my life. The environment became a safe space, and every class slowly helped me heal my relationship with myself. I learned to deeply appreciate the strength and power that resided within me, and started to release the negative thought patterns that were working against me. I learned to be patient and consistent, and after a little while, I was in awe of what I had achieved. Over time, I naturally found myself teaching, and it has been so fulfilling assisting people on their journey. Every class I teach is connecting a group of strangers, supporting them on their journey in different ways, rebuilding their confidence and refining their image of themselves. I am still practicing regularly, and love to share all that I have learned among groups of people all looking to better themselves, strengthen their connection to their sensuality, and support each other. It’s been so inspiring to be a part of this community, and I hope to only continue growing with it.
